Description Since 2007, thanks to the AFPy ("Association Francophone Python"), French-speaking users of the Python language are gathering together during a few days to talk about their experiences in the field, learn from each other and show off new tricks. PyCon-fr ( ) became a reference event to learn Python, refine one's skills, meet maintainers of popular libraries… and essentially meet and have a pleasant time together. For example, during PyCon-fr 2015 Sprints, coders helped non profit organizations like "Bibliothèque Sans Frontières" (Library Without Borders) or PauLLA to achieve significant progress on their Open Source projects.

PyCon-FR takes place each year in a different city.

In 2016, we will gather in Rennes, in a local university named Télécom Bretagne, from October the 13th to the 16th.

Sprints are programmed on Thursday the 13th and Wednesday the 14th of October. Conferences and Workshops will take place Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th of October.

The event is free for everyone to attend.
