Former Rep

This Rep has been part of the program from 20 October 2011 to 21 February 2015

I'm a FOSS and web standards advocate and interested in translating free software for German speaking users.

At the beginning of my involvement at Mozilla I've proof-read the German Firefox 2.0 help — and tried to help the German Firefox localizer to modernize his support website. During release of Firefox 3.0 I've worked to transfer the in-product help to new SUMO. So I became the lead of the German SUMO translation team. Since then I'm working on localizing SUMO and I'm giving feedback to the SUMO developers to make it a better service for users and participants.

Later I became one of two official German-speaking localizers of the Mozilla websites and activities (Flicks,,, etc.).

In cooperation with other Mozillians I'm co-organizing German Mozilla community meetings in Cologne.

If you are interested in helping translate SUMO or if you want to make a Mozilla event in Upper Austria, please contact me.
